Murdered December 8th 2004
The serious crimes unit of the Prince George RCMP confirmed Tuesday that Melanie Dawn Brown, 31, of Prince George is the sixth homicide of the year. She was found dead in a basement suite on the 400 block of Ogilvie Street at about 4 p.m. Dec. 8. An autopsy was performed in Kamloops Dec. 13. Police have confirmed the cause of death was a gunshot wound.
