Details About Cindy-Lou’s Case: On September 9, 1958, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Cindy-Lou was last seen playing outside of her residence in Willow River, British Columbia.
Law enforcement and more than 2,000 volunteers almost immediately launched a search. Waterways, rail lines and roads were scoured.
No trace of the girl was ever found and detectives believe that because of how quickly the alarm was raised, the child was likely abducted.
