Andrew Ward
Andrew Charles Ward has been missing from his home in the Quesnel area since May 9. RCMP say his disappearance is out of character, they and Ward’s family are concerned for his safety.
“Andrew Ward was last confirmed to have been seen alive on May 9, 2020 at approximately 7:20 p.m. when he was at the 4 Mile Store & Coffee Shop located on the Barkerville Highway just outside of Quesnel, B.C., in the company of another individual known to him,” reads a release by BC RCMP.He left the store in his vehicle, a grey Jeep YJ, and was believed to have been heading towards Pinnacles Provincial Park, but police are also asking the public to keep an eye out for a dark-coloured pick-up truck in the same area or near Hangman Springs.
“This is not some random missing person,” Ward’s sister said in a release on June 15, calling the incident ‘out of character’ and his whole family is concerned for his safety.
“He is my brother, and I miss him. His family misses him. We are desperate for some resolution. If you have any information, please speak up.”
Ward is described as:
5’8″
Skinny build
Short, dark, salt and pepper hair
Scruffy beard
Arms covered in tattoos
Wears glasses
Other teams involved include BC RCMP Major Crime Section, the Forensic Identification Section, Air Services, Underwater Recovery teams and the Police Dog Service, who’ve all conducted extensive searches since the case was reported.
